The Patio Grill is OPEN FOR THE SEASON! CHECK IT OUT SUMMER OF 2008! Drive-in or Boat-in and enjoy a wonderful NEW MENU prepared just for you as you dine lakeside. We will once again be offering affordable meals for the Wawasee and Syracuse Lake boating crowds as well as a casual atmosphere for all of our guests this Summer. The Patio Grill...Where every table is lakeside.

BOAT-IN WORSHIP SERVICE
Lake Wawasee offers a pastoral setting, a pulpit on the pier, and unusual summertime "boat-in" services, proving that church can be anywhere one gathers to celebrate spirituality, including on the water!
Summer vacation, for many, includes a break from church. But on summer Sunday mornings at the Oakwood Inn on Indiana's Lake Wawasee, over 400 people gather for Boat-In Worship. Participating in the ecumenical service from their moored boats or from lawn chairs on the shoreline, tourists and year-round residents alike carry on a tradition that started 30 years ago, when several local ministers decided to emulate Jesus by preaching along the shore.
Sponsored by twelve cooperating area churches, Boat-In Worship is conducted every Sunday morning at 8:30 from Memorial Weekend through Labor Day Weekend. Dress is casual; bathing suits are perfectly acceptable. Over 30 ministers rotate preaching duties, while local musicians provide the service music. Coffee is served on the shoreline after the service.
Numbers at this unusual yet highly beautiful place of worship appear to be growing each year. As Founding Pastor Harlan Steffen notes: "People just come out here and say this is the grandest cathedral that ever was."
